This is just a variation on a “pyramid scheme.” You don’t make money unless you can convince others to join and invest. You’ll lose your friends if you approach them.
I’ve known several people who’ve invested in “health/wellmess” schemes and not one of them made any money — and all lost their initial investment.
Dear Precc7, if you are an excellent salesperson and can really work independently and are ready to learn about these products like no one else can, i.e., constantly creating their value for your clients, then you may go for it. After a dry spell of 12 to 18 months, you’ll be able to make quite some money. It’s also very eminent that your family support you fully on this endeavor as you will have very little time for them, unless they actively and practically work together with you.
If you think you cannot “walk in the desert” and your family has considerations about accompanying you for those 12-18 months, then thank the MLM people for their offer. Someone else may accept it.
The upside is tax advantages and depending on the MLM maybe some good products. The doenside is MLM is alot of work. You need to maittain a unresonable amount of monthly sales with most. You need to stock product with many. You need to place orders for others and deliver when the product arrives plus collect money sales tax ETC.You want a company with unparalled consumable products and state of the art nutritional products and a reorder rate of 95%. Without the MLM downline mentality. I know if you give someone great products not only will they keep ordering but they will tell others. Only one company I know of only one company that will pay you for just recomending people to them and do all the work to keep them happy customers and if they want to do more then they help you help them with a pre laid out buiness plan that works, support from company leaders so you do not have to do presentations.
