MLM or multi level marketing must have a product somewhere.. like Amway.

What you are describing is a pyramid scheme and illegal. The first few make money. The rest are bilked.

Watch out for pyramid schemes that try say that you will earn money if you sign new members up. From experience I know if you find legitimate sites that do surveys, they do pay for your services.
You fill out surveys for marketing firms that are trying to find the best places and tagets to advertise products to. You earn points and the points convert into rewards. Although you can make a profit if you constantly fill out these surveys, it takes many surveys to actually get a prize.
The last prize I won was from a nielsen.com where i filled out surveys and earned a $50 gift card to amazon.com

those aren’t mlms…it’s just a chain letter. Yeah, If you spend money on a good mail list from a website then you can make some money, My Mother in Law did, but it’s all in the luck of hte draw with the names you pick, and how many envelopes you’re willing to lick….most suggest what is it 100-200 people?

MLM’s are based on networking with people you know and meet and they have a product for sale. By law they have to be able to produce income for the distributors by selling a product or by the networking side, otherwise they are simply a pyramid which is illegal.
